The Employment Airbag-Keeping Your Job Safe

Our focus for Employment Options MUST entail the ability to safeguard any current position(s), while developing a freelance/entrepreneurial prospect. In 2009 our ability to adapt and conform is a must. There is little room for uncertainty.
Love what you do, but also develop in areas that you like. Your "key" role may be in what you like, then the opposite is a necessity...develop in what you love. It may seem very minute in the beginning and some may scoff and snicker at the mere mention of pursuing the notion of hobby= money. But recall the many things that have birthed from such frivolous. Tangible ideas such as , FedEx, Yahoo, Google, Go Daddy, Ask Jeeves ...and the like all stemmed from the need to create and expand using different modes.
The key to keeping a position safe in these tough economic times is to ensure that in all you do, you can be your own boss. Your financial well being cannot be 100% dependent on another, for daily existence- if it does the chance of living from check to check will be great.
